The shuls around the Western Cape that I photographed; where possible, I photographed the interiors, the foundation stones, and the sections of the town museums detailing the Jewish community. I also found some old archival photos of some of the shuls.

*In some cases, I found a foundation stone that was clearly older than the shul, I assume the synagogue was rebuilt at a later date. Some foundation stones were at the Jewish Museum in Cape Town at the time.
